For more than 900 days, Roman Reigns has stood tall. The undisputed WWE Universal champion has beaten all those who have tried to take his gold, further cementing his legacy and the legacy of The Bloodline.
But at the 2023 Royal Rumble — or maybe even well before — something was brewing. Sami Zayn had gradually become the biggest face in WWE, and his ties to The Bloodline ultimately came to an end after a postmatch beatdown last month. On Saturday night in his hometown of Montreal, Zayn will try to do the unthinkable and dethrone Reigns in the final Premium Live Event before WrestleMania.
Cody Rhodes will be watching this match from the sideline as he awaits the winner, but the same might not be said for the rest of The Bloodline. Will Jey Uso slip further from Reigns’ grasp? Will Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa provide the additional muscle for Reigns to get the job done?
There’s plenty of drama heading into the main event, as well as the two Elimination Chamber matches that will take place. Austin Theory’s United States championship will be up for grabs in the chamber against Seth Rollins, Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed, Damian Priest and Montez Ford. The other Elimination Chamber match, featuring Raquel Rodriguez, Nikki Cross, Liv Morgan, Asuka, Natalya and Carmella, will be for the right to face Bianca Belair for the Raw women’s championship at WrestleMania.
